The Vini Buoni d’Italia guide awards 4 Assuli wines. The national editor of Vinibuoni d’Italia, Mario Busso, assigns the stars to:
Sicilia Doc Nero d’Avola Besi 2017 – 4 stars
Sicilia Doc Nero d’Avola Lorlando Riserva 2017 – 4 stars
Sicilia Doc Perricone Furioso 2017 – 3 stars
Sicilia Doc Zibibbo Dardinello 2019 – 3 stars
Inspired by the Italian winemaking tradition, the Guide gives value to local roots, the area and traditional products. Vinibuoni d’Italia gives a precise sign to consumers and to the Italian and foreign markets on wine made in Italy.
It is unique in the Italian and international panorama because it is the only one dedicated to wines from native varietals, that is to those wines produced 100% from vines that have existed on the Peninsula for over 300 years.
The selection process is based on commitment and transparency, with a 2021 edition even richer than usual: 1884 selected companies (+ 6% compared to 2020).
